One-to-One Changes the Way You Learn
This format gives us time to do more than simply move through the curriculum.
You can ask questions as they arise, practice what you are learning, receive feedback in the moment, and stay with something longer when it needs more attention. When a concept is already clear, we can move forward.
Across eight sessions, I have the opportunity to see how your understanding develops, where your instincts are already strong, and where a small shift can help you become more confident in the work.
The aim is to become comfortable enough with Havening that your attention can stay where it belongs: with the person in front of you.

Who Want to Do This Work Well
The students who tend to feel most at home in my training are curious, engaged learners.
They want to understand what they are doing and why. They are willing to apply what they are learning, ask questions, receive feedback, and take the time to let the learning settle.
Some come with years of experience as therapists, counsellors, coaches, hypnotherapists, or other helping professionals. Others are newer to the work.
What matters most is approaching the learning with curiosity, care, and openness.

How the Certification Training Works
We meet live online for eight two-hour sessions, scheduled flexibly around your availability.
The sessions are spaced so you have time to absorb what you are learning, use it between modules, and bring your questions and observations back into our next session.
During the training, you will:
• learn all seven Havening protocols
• understand the neuroscience that supports them
• experience demonstrations and guided application
• facilitate Havening yourself
• develop language, pacing and decision-making
• receive individual feedback as your skills develop
Your certification training also includes three hours of individual mentoring to support you as you begin applying what you have learned.

Learning Through Your Case Studies
I encourage you to begin your case studies while we are still training together.
Between modules, you have the opportunity to apply what you are learning and bring those experiences back into our next session. We can look at what worked, where you felt uncertain, what you noticed, and the choices you made along the way.
For practitioners who are already established in their work, this also gives us time to explore how Havening can integrate naturally with your existing approach and help you develop a way of using it that feels genuinely your own.
This is an active learning process. I bring my experience, attention, feedback, and support to every session. I ask you to bring your curiosity, questions, and willingness to engage with the work between modules.
Many students complete much of their case study work during the training itself, or shortly afterwards, while the learning is still active and they are regularly using Havening.
Completing the Certification Requirements
The eight training sessions and all certification requirements must be completed within 12 months of your first training session.
I recommend meeting regularly, with time between modules for practice and case study work.
To become a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner, you will also complete:
- 20 written case studies
- 3 video case studies
- the Havening science review
- the Havening Code of Conduct
- the practitioner application
- the $99 USD Havening Headquarters certification fee
Your training includes three hours of individual mentoring to support your case work and continued development.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the training and certification be completed online?
Yes. All eight training sessions and your individual mentoring are held live online through Zoom.
Do I need to be a therapist or clinician?
No. Students come from a range of professional backgrounds. Throughout the training, we consider how Havening can be used responsibly within your existing role, training, and scope of practice.
How often do we meet?
Most students benefit from a regular rhythm so that the learning can build naturally from one session to the next. Scheduling is flexible, with enough time between sessions to practice, integrate what you are learning, and bring questions back to our next meeting.
Is this official Havening Techniques® certification training?
Yes. The training follows the practitioner certification requirements established by Havening Techniques® Headquarters.
